We are proud to offer private homes which are clean, fully furnished (including linens & dishes) and in top condition. Each property requires a security deposit, typically $350, which is held in escrow (higher end properties often have a higher deposit requirement). Also, a 9% lodging tax is required by the State of Maine and is paid by tenant. Some of the properties charge a cleaning fee, which will be listed in the description. The amounts listed on the website are for the rental fee only.
Most of our homes are NO Smoking and NO Pets properties. Please inquire as to which properties allow smoking and/or pets, if you have these needs. Rental terms go from Saturday to Saturday–check in is anytime after 4 p.m. and check out is by 9:30 a.m. unless otherwise noted in your lease.
The last two weeks of July and the first two weeks of August fill first, so as soon as you can make your plans, we would advise you to do so. Our payment policy calls for one-half of the total due (rent +sales tax + security deposit) to be paid when you return the lease agreement (within 14 days of reservation). The second half is due 14 days prior to arrival. Upon receipt of your final payment, we will send directions, phone numbers, key instructions, etc. We can accept your personal check as well as Paypal.
