This lovely compound is sited on the shores of Somesville harbor offering easy access for kayaking, beach combing or simply relaxing by the water. The main home is well appointed and furnished in a comfortable, quality style. There is an open kitchen/dining area, half bath, formal living room with fireplace, den with fireplace, master bedroom with oversized full bath and private deck. On the lower level there is a large family style bedroom with doors to outside along with bath and a laundry room. On the second floor there is a sleeping loft and a bedroom and full bath. In the adjoining carriage house there is a kitchenette, living area, bedroom and bath. Nearly all rooms enjoy splendid views. Lots of opportunity for outdoor activities with a dock on Somes Harbor and a fantastic stone patio too! Two week bookings preferred. There is a cleaning fee of $750 for all rentals.

Bathrooms: Main house has three full bathrooms and one half bath: one bathroom with a toilet, sink, bathtub, and shower; one bathroom with a toilet, sink, and bathtub/shower combination; one bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower; and half bath with a toilet and sink. The carriage house has one bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower.
Bedrooms: This cottage sleeps eight people comfortably. Main house has three bedrooms and a loft: two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each, one bedroom with a queen bed and two twin beds and a loft with two twin beds. Carriage house has one bedroom with a queen size bed and a sleeper sofa. There is also a sleeper sofa in the main house.
Outdoor Accomodations: Enjoy the outdoors and views from the patio and decks as well as the expansive shore frontage with dock. There are two kayaks here for tenants use. A life jacket must be worn at all times while using kayaks.
Kitchen: Kitchens are equipped with dishes, pots & pans, dishwasher, toaster, microwave oven, blender, and coffee maker.
Heating/Cooling: Heating is provided by an oil fired furnace. Also, there are two wood-burning fireplaces with wood provided in the main house and a propane stove in the carriage house for chilly evenings. There is an air-conditioning window unit for cooling in the master bedroom on the first floor of the main house.
Laundry: Washer and dryer are located in the basement of the main cottage.
Linens: Kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom linens are included. Please bring beach towels.
Telephone/Internet: There is a telephone with a long distance block, so please use a credit card for long distance calls. WiFi internet is available in both the main house and the carriage house.
Television: There is a 32” TV in the kitchen, a 32” TV in the den with a DVD/VCR player, and a 17” TV in the carriage house; all with satellite reception.
Pets: Pets are not permitted at this property.
Grill: There is a charcoal grill here.

    We had such an amazing time at the Cove House and could not have asked for a better vacation spot for our family. I am a Realtor and super conscious of house quality-this home exceeded expectations and was better that any AirBnb type of property we have used. The house was beautifully built and landscaped, we loved the dock, the use of the kayak and canoe and thoroughly enjoyed playing a lot of Bananagrams on the patio.
